The Eindhoven region
Eindhoven lies in between The Kempen and The Peel. Both are famous as areas of natural and green beauty and for their outdoor activities. Here you will still find the famous 'Brabant amiability'. Taste this atmosphere in a typically Brabant village, such as Eersel, Nuenen or Oirschot, and enjoy the Burgundian cosiness in one of the many cafe's or at an outdoor cafe with a delicious glass of Trappist beer! Enjoy the rich nature
The Kempen and the Peel have a very abundant nature. Woods, heath, meres and small rivers alternate with picturesque villages. Here you will find your rest and will you be able to simply enjoy the space. For nature lovers, particularly 'National Park De Groote Peel' and the 'Strabrechtse Heide' are very interesting.

The Kempen
The typical landscape of the Kempen, with its rugged ground and far stretching woodlands, is pictoresque and calming. The countryside is dotted with beautiful villages such as the famous 'Acht Zaligheden'. These people know just howto enjoy the good things in life and you are guaranteed a warm welcome.

The Peel
The ever-changing countryside of the Peel is home to agricultural landscape, beautiful peat marshes, ponds, woods and sandy ridges. This area, also known as the peat and turf district, and its varied landscape is a favourite among cyclists and hikers.
 


Outdoor activities
The magnificent nature in the Kempen and the Peel guarantees pure relaxation. For bicycle lovers, the 'Cycling route network' offers unprecedented possibilities. In this unique system, you yourself decide the route and the number of kilometres you want to bike. Hikers and skaters can indulge themselves here. But you can also cross the Belgian border, by canoe for example, take your first golfing lesson, make a tour through the region by tilt-cart, or on a mountain bike through the woods or go riding!
