Countryside Wagon Ride

At a unique location, in rural surroundings just 15 km outside Eindhoven, you’ll get a taste of the typical warmth and hospitality of Brabant. Relax and enjoy the atmosphere on this genuine farmstead, complete with horses, a coach house, orchard, kitchen garden, herb and flower gardens. In their own special way and with a lot of personal attention, the owner, an SVH Master chef, and his wife succeed in making a visit to their farm a true experience for each and every guest, time and time again.

Programme Description
The day begins with a cup of coffee/tea and a slice of delicious cake. Then, led by the farmer or his wife, the games can begin: milking the cows, spiting cherry pips, potato dodging, horseshoe throwing and catch-the-rat. The lunch includes a ‘three-in-the-pan buffet’: unlimited pancakes with warm cherries, warm apples in caramel sauce, bacon, cheese, icing sugar etc. This is followed by a playful prize-giving ceremony for the farm games and then it’s time to climb into the wagon for a tour through the beautiful Strabrechtse Heide nature reserve.
